Our Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Organization is set up in 3 parts: Global, Regional and Local. For our Europe Central Asia (ECA) region, we are looking for an HSE Manager to support HSE efforts across 10 countries. The HSE Manager is responsible for driving our Zero Harm culture, including assurance that HSE delivery aligns with industry standards and Nutreco's guidelines. This function will ensure awarenesss and compliance of the ECA region’s policy implementation and project deliverables in Health, Safety, and Environment. 

About The Role:  

Responsibilities:  

  • Execute various HSE improvement projects across 10 countries, ensuring compliance and project deliverables are met. 

  • Formulate the HSE year plans, budgets, annual objectives and HSE goals for the entity, and, after approval, ensuring the execution thereof. 

  • Manage the deployment of new and revised policies, programs, standards, and practices, ensuring full implementation at the local level. 

Skills and Expertise  

Qualifications:  

  • A bachelor’s degree in HSE, Engineering or a similar field. 

  • 10+ years of experience in HSE, with at least 5 years in managing a regional or global HSE organization with multiple sites. 

  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to deliver processes effectively to optimize business resources. 

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to partner and communicate effectively with employees and business counterparts. 

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. 

Expectation from Role:  

  • Build trust, confidence, and collaboration with the HSE team and Operating Company (OpCo) representatives. 

  • Develop and maintain a network of relevant stakeholders and partners, including local Safety Champions, to ensure commitment to and communication of Nutreco's HSE objectives. 

  • Align the HSE strategy with the global HSE strategy, supporting local management in developing regional HSE strategic roadmaps and objectives.
