Job Description

Key responsibilities

Reporting

  • Group financial reports: responsible for all reports in line with Nutreco Group’s guidance, including Business Management Reports on monthly basic (BRM)
  • Reporting tool/ system: Implement/ utilize/ maximize tools or system to facility reporting requirements as per Nutreco guidance, for instant PBI, One-stream.
  • Sales growth program: tracking & analysis.
  • Data management

Financial control

  • Targeting, forecasting and monitoring reports and action recommendation toward financial targets.
  • Business analysis: standard & ad hoc business cases.
  • Expertise advice: proactively provide with substantial financial consequences and handle financial analysis to support business decisions. Advise financial awareness in decisions to mitigate financial risks.
  • Products costings: understand deeply for profitability & pricing analysis.
  • Close coordination with Accounting team to align financial accounting and requirements of reporting and controlling.
  • Financial strategic reports in line with Opco strategy and Nutreco strategy

Internal control

  • Internal control system: maintaining and implementing adequate as per Nutreco standards and guidelines, including standard policies and procedures both guidance and governance, financial control frameworks and related matters.
  • Internal audit: handling audit & improvement actions.
  • Financial control frameworks: maintain and ensure proper implementation.

Credit control

  • Credit policy and procedure: prepare/ amend to facilitate credit control. Monitor implementation of the policy and procedure to ensure sufficient control.
  • Risk assessment frame works: perceive feedback to improve further for effectively supporting sales growth.
  • Credit review: data analysis & recommendation for necessary actions.

Pricing & margin management

  • Harmonize price setting in system
  • Profitability and necessary analysis with sound recommendation to support on pricing decision for profitability optimization.
  • Sale policies (rebate & promotional scheme): provide necessary analysis for decision of sales policies. Follow up with business colleagues to ensure proper implementation.
  • Business partners: closely partnering with Aqua business colleagues; supports and drive business to common objective of the company.         
  • Organize, manage, develop and staff the department in order to be equipped for current and future business challenges.
  • Team engagement: self- engagement and share leadership to support team engagement.
  • Assist Finance Director and may cover tasks in his/her absence.

Projects

  • Accounting or controlling related projects to have Accounting & controlling well-facilitated needs of business development.
  • Active project member as Accounting/Controlling representative for multi functions involved projects at either local or global level.

Competencies (Academic qualifications, Experiences & personal attributes)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 year experience with at least 5 years at a managerial position in a MNC/international company with strong technical controlling and reporting skills. Experience in similar industry to aqua/ animal feed or nutrition will be a plus.
  • Strong financial & internal control skills working with strong business mindset.
  • Excellent data building and analysis. Good at handling detailed data/information.
  • Technology savvy with experience in ERP System, ERP of M3 is an advance, PBI key user.
  • English skills: Good and confident communication.
  • Well planned and followed up, hands-on, and committed strong ownership on tasks.
  • Effective & comprehensive communication skills in Vietnamese and English both.
  • Self-starter and reliable team player with professional behaviors
