We are seeking a Maintenance Technician that supports and executes operational activities/processes, in accordance with established specifications and (quality, safety and environment) guidelines. The Maintenance Technician carries out maintenance and repair work to electrical and/or mechanical installations or equipment (such as production machinery, rotating equipment, electrical installations, transport systems, buildings, facilities and constructions), so that technical assignments are carried out on time, safely and according to specifications to support the optimal running of production.

The Maintenance Technician operates within a production / technical department, with a focus on execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. The main purpose of the job of a Maintenance Technician is to prevent any malfunction of the equipment, apparatus, machinery or systems that are used in the production process. They may also support other facilities than production, such as R&D laboratories, office facilities as well as technical buildings (utilities) and systems for logistics and storage. The job takes care of any trouble shooting to keep to production process running and carries out tasks to prevent future disturbances.

About The Role: Driving Inventory Excellence

Responsibilities:

• Inspections and preventive/planned maintenance
• Check and Assess the condition of handling multiple electrical/grinding/mixing/bag filling/bulk loading weight bridge machinery on schedules and checklist
• Restores (imminent) defects and perform corrective maintenance
• Signals to Supervisor potential flaws with details of the nature and severity, and proposes solutions
• Orders/polls spare parts and materials for maintenance
• Works on planned maintenance activities of more extensive and/or complex nature
• Signals deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems
• Works in compliance with all relevant safety, and quality regulations and procedures
• Promotes awareness with unsafe situations
• Ensures the work area is left clean and in safe working condition
• Follow basic mandatory work instructions

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Trouble Shooting
• 1-3 years of Maintenance Experience
• HVAC Experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Working for the success of the team
• Urgency, Prioritize, Ownership and Personal Accountability
