Supply & Demand Planning Manager I

Job Description

Why join us

Get ready to Own innovative supply chain at Nutreco, an SHV company. Our shared purpose of Feeding the Future comes to life in Cell Feed, where science, innovation and operational excellence meet. Step into a role where you shape strategy and execution, partnering closely with our Global Supply Points to turn breakthrough technologies into reliable, scalable operations.

Cell Feed is Nutreco’s innovation hub for cellular agriculture - a new way of producing protein by feeding cells in bioreactors rather than raising entire animals. To help this field scale, we develop the nutritional solutions that enable cultivated‑meat producers to grow their cells consistently and efficiently.

As Supply Chain Lead, you step into a role that connects Cell Feed’s fast‑moving, science‑driven culture with Nutreco’s Global Supply Points (GSP), our international network of production and logistics facilities across the Netherlands, Germany and the USA. These sites form the backbone of Nutreco’s specialty supply chain, and their standards, systems and expertise will be your partners in building the Supply Chain for an entirely new product.

By translating proven GSP capabilities into an early‑stage, innovation environment, you help Cell Feed grow from pilot scale to global relevance. It’s a space where curiosity meets execution, where structure is built from scratch and where every improvement moves a new industry forward. Own your vision. Own your impact. Own your growth.

What you’ll do

  • Build and evolve Cell Feed’s end to end supply chain across planning, purchasing, inventory management, logistics and customer service.

  • Lead the weekly S&OE and monthly IBP cycles and translate scenarios into concrete decisions.

  • Partner with Nutreco’s Global Supply Points to bring proven supply chain standards into an early stage, R&D driven environment.

  • Shape planning, replenishment and inventory policies while optimising working capital without losing service reliability.

  • Coordinate warehousing and logistics with external providers and drive continuous improvement in cost to serve and operational performance.

Who we’re looking for
Someone who takes ownership, brings structure to complexity and thrives in a fast moving, innovation driven setting. Someone who enjoys building what doesn’t exist yet, collaborates with ease and brings a mix of strategic thinking and hands on execution. You bring:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.

  • Five or more years of experience in end-to-end demand or supply planning, or operations.

  • Experience with IBP, S&OE, scenario planning and KPIs such as OTIF, inventory and capacity utilisation.

  • Confidence working with ERP systems (we use Infor M3), and strong Excel capability.

  • Fluency in English; Dutch or Spanish is a plus.

What you’ll receive
A place in a global community united by our mission of Feeding the Future. Work at the intersection of groundbreaking science and real world scale up, supported by a caring culture and a strong international supply chain network. Experience genuine opportunities for growth and an environment that values wellbeing, sustainability and personal development.

  • A competitive package with 30 vacation days and a solid pension scheme.

  • Flexible work environment (hybrid).

  • Access to learning (incl. internal training and e learning), peer communities, and opportunities across Nutreco and SHV.

  • An inclusive culture where you’ll be encouraged to Own it: your ideas, your development, and your impact.

How and why to find out more
This role offers the chance to shape how a new category in sustainable protein becomes reality. If you’re ready to build, influence and grow in an environment where ownership matters, we’d love to hear from you. Own your progress. Own your potential. Own your career. #OwnIt
