Within Nutreco, the Competence Center (NCC) is the heart of application, data, and process excellence. We group domain experts to drive cross-functional business value through harmonized systems and best-in-class IT practices.
The Quality team within NCC supports the entire quality value chain - from supplier assessment and incoming materials inspection to final product testing. With 132 laboratories across 34 countries, we are managing a global Laboratory Information Management System (LabVantage) and OneQualityManagementSystem (OneQM) to unify and enhance our global QA capabilities.
Your Role
As Process Information Manager – QA, you are the strategic owner of the QA process framework, related IT applications, and overall performance. You will define and implement IT strategies in partnership with business and enterprise architecture leaders, ensuring that IT solutions meet real business needs.
You are also accountable for managing the NCC QA team, overseeing the project portfolio, and acting as a key contributor to Nutreco’s global IT transformation in Quality. You will operate on strategic and tactical levels, reporting hierarchically to the Director NCC and collaborating closely with the Business Process Owner, Enterprise Architects, Business Benefit Realization Manager, and the Director IT Strategy, Portfolio & Architecture (SPA).
Key Responsibilities
Define and deliver IT strategy for the QA domain in close alignment with Enterprise Architects, Business Process Owners, and IT leadership
Own and lead operational excellence of our key QA systems LabVantage LIMS and OneQM, ensuring they support global standardization and performance.
Lead the QA application team, providing coaching, direction, and development opportunities.
Manage the QA project portfolio, from business case to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Drive continuous improvement by aligning systems, processes, and data with business needs.
Ensure governance, budget control, and risk management across QA-related IT initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across Nutreco to deliver value through digital transformation in QA.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Quality Management, Life Sciences, or a related field
Proven experience managing teams (10+ FTEs), including coaching and development
Solid experience in quality assurance systems and process management
Deep understanding of QA processes, digital lab systems, and their integration with ERP platforms (we use InforM3)
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to operate across all levels of a global organization
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2, or PMP), ITIL, and business process architecture preferred
