Trouw Nutrition is hiring… Skilled Operator works with machines and with computer systems to produce animal feed. We will provide you with hands-on training in order to learn various tasks and positions in the plant; cross training is key to keeping our talented team engaged and able to provide relief in all areas of our operations. Safety first – ongoing safety training is provided. Willing to train the right candidate. If you are local to the area and available to work various shifts, we want to hear from you!

Landmark facility: Box 220, Lot 9, Hwy 210 E Landmark, Manitoba R0A 0X0

Responsibilities:

  • Complete all paperwork required for assigned tasks ensuring proper documentation for Food Safety and follow quality standards
  • Ability to follow strict manufacturing practices and safety policies
  • Load bulk trucks: Unload and receive the ingredients; Accurately and efficiently ship products ordered by customers
  • Perform the tasks related to the preventive and sanitary maintenance of the plant and ensure that the quality control requirements of the ingredients are met at all times
  • Operate the production line
  • Endeavors to be productive at all times; Other duties as required.

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Feed Mill or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability and availability to work rotational shifts and overtime as required
  • Positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Willingness to learn
  • Ability to work with a team but also self-motivated to be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Expectation from the Role: 

  • Regular, Full time, Shift-work.
  • Must be able to lift 25kg; and ability to regularly bend and twist.
  • Occasional requirement to work at heights
  • Must possess a valid class 5 license
  • Forklift driving experience (an asset).
