About The Role 

 

As an FP&A Coordinator, you will support our OpCos (Operating Company) in Young animal feed and Feed additives businesses across the Netherlands and Germany. You will be part of the finance team of Global supply points and report directly to the Global Supply Point Finance Manager. You act as a link between finance and all other business areas, preparing value-added management information and advising to facilitate improved performance. 

This position can be based at: Amersfoort, Deventer or Tilburg.

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Quarterly rolling forecasts and budget preparations and deviations analysis for P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and all financial KPIs, with the goal of improving accuracy and integrating other business teams into this process. 

  • Provide management team with resourceful insights and be a key element in the results achievement as a business partner. 

  • Standard costing updating and absorptions measurement. 

  • Monthly end closure coordination in collaboration with controlling team members and accounting team. 

  • Implement improvements and own projects within financial processes. 

 

 

Skills and Expertise  

 

Qualifications 

  • You have a relevant bachelor's degree in finance/accounting related studies. 

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a financial planning and analysis position with experience in forecasting and budgeting. 

  • Ideally you have experience of working closely with manufacturing operations and/or enjoy working closely to the business. 

  • You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Dutch is a plus. 

  • You are an independent self-starter, able to self-reflect and willing to learn and grow in a challenging position. 

 

 

Expectation from Role 

 

  • Proactively advises management in decisions with substantial financial consequences and takes care of financial analyses to support these decisions, within corporate guidelines, to ensure financial awareness in decision making and to minimise financial risks. 

  • Manages the budget of the department, takes corrective actions when necessary, and ensures adequate reporting, within the corporate guidelines, to ensure that the department delivers its budget and meets KPI objectives.
